Austin smith has had a few crystal ball picks in for lsu today and 247 hinted that lsu picked up a "silent" today, may be him and if not it was still good to get him on campus. LINK . 247

Peveto already doing work.

I'm guessing that this guy may be a de in our system. 6'3 and 235 already.

You know something is up if Shea just picked him to LSU.

Doesn't seem too highly rated. Does someone know anything about him or someone from GA that has seen him play? Definitely has the size...

This board blows up when a Louisiana prospect commits out of state, especially when its to BAMA. Yet, look at the success LSU has had in Georgia: Minter, Sheppard, Copeland, Jennings, Ferguson x 2, Leslie, Alexander. That's two guys playing on Sundays, 2 more who will likely do so, probable starting quarterback and wide receiver. Not bad for state so heavily recruited by all the major SEC programs and with two major college schools. As Cholly Mac once said, Fellas it aint the ones you miss that kill you so much as the ones you get sometimes.

Knew I had left out someone, another good Tiger from the P{each state.

Blake Ferguson tweeted yesterday that Austin Smith had committed but deleted it a little whole later when Smith tweeted that he wouldn't be committing today.

Yet playing in Atlanta is frowned upon. Its bullocks, ga and Florida are the two most talent rich states in the country. UGA seems to never be able to lock it down, we will continue to be a force there. I also recall during the 80s when LA was going through a recession, that 75% of the people that left Louisiana, moved to the metro Atlanta area, my family included.

I don't think any school can legitimately claim a Stone Mountain pipeline. Kids from there go all over. For a while it seemed every school in the ACC and SEC footprint had a kid from Stone Mountain on the team.

Can he play ILB?
Also, is there any reason Georgia hasn't offered?
