Tara baseball is hangin on by a thread...
Broadmoor is a bad team...BUT they have one of BR area's Best Hitters in Wade Jackson(transfer from Catholic HS Soph. year)...Jackson will be headed to Jackson MS this Summer for MLB Try-outs...dude is batting about 700%! Walker clobbered Broadmoor 17-1...HOWEVER everybody in the stands knew Wade Jackson was the best player for either club! Went 2 for 3 & just missed hitting a HR...
Belaire was a powerhouse baseball program back in the day...today one of BR's finest fields lay dormant!
Inner city kids tend to stay away from baseball these days(Scotlandville Magnet HS has a Solid program)....this is what Roger Cador & Urban League is trying to change...
