I think a lot of the inconsistency with the line had a lot to do with the guards making up for DLP playing like shite though.

Maybe, but you can just easily say that DLP played like shite because of Evans' injury. Or Grubbs played like shite because Charles Brown is just an all around shitty player.

The majority of the inconsistency was rooted in the players switching to a new blocking scheme. It's not easy replacing one of the best O line coaches in the NFL. Nor is it easy for linemen to learn new blocking schemes. Hopefully they straightened out the problems for next year

Wasn't Evans not 100% those first few games though? I can't remember what he had injured but Lelito took his place in the Arizona game.

Lelito had to block Darnell Dockett most of the time.
