1: Food stamps. $858 million in abuse.

2: Defense. I think we all agree on that.

3: Research. Not all research is bad, but we fund some nonsense.

4. Disability: We all know about this.

5. Subsidies for ethanol.

6. Subsidies for oil.

7. The TSA.

8. The prison system.

9. The postal service. Don't fund pensions for 50 years.

10. Tax free status for religious organizations.

11. Funding for the arts. I'm OK with some tax breaks, but no actual funding.

So there's a list. I know you love the gotcha game.

I agree that food stamps should be eliminated. But your point is merely stopping abuse. That's impossible. It's like Walmart saying that prices will go down this year because there will be no shop lifting. The best way to stop food stamp abuse is TO STOP FOOD STAMPS.

Defense has already been cut to the bone under Obama. Would you just like to get rid of the military altogether?

There is no need for govt sponsored research.

I agree.

Prisoners should be put to work or shot. Very cost effective.

Defense & the post office are in the constitution. The rest of what's listed isn't to my knowledge. Of course both could operate much better, but my opinion is you cut everything else on that list first.
