the allure of the Thursday night games still hasn't hit home for me yet.

even when the Saints played the Falcons this past season, it just seemed so weird.

even Monday Night football has kind of fallen off some. That use to be one of the premiere games of the week. But now it seems like the majority of the matchups aren't really all that appealing. The matchups are almost on par with the Thursday night games.

the most effort put into primetime games is on Sunday Night for whatever reason now.

its because the matchups are pre determined and generally focused to big media markets. its why you get a lot of cowboys, jets, giants, patriots, eagles, and skins games. What's worse is many of those teams sucked last year so you got what you got.

Thursday games are awful. It's a short week. Game plans can't be fully instituted, and guys barely practice before playing. I know the players absolutely hate them.
