When he's 5'10" and our other WR opposite of him is barely 6 feet and we gotta play a secondary like the Seahawks, etc in the playoffs in the coming years, yeah, yeah I would say he would be.

Colston's productive year's are limited, and as much as I want him to succeed it doesn't look like Toon has it. I'd much rather get a big physical WR.

Now, if hypotheticaly, we replaced Stills with a big WR that we already had then yes, I'd be all for drafting Cooks if he fell to 27.

I just think you're putting too much importance on height. Don't forget about Jimmy either. And I still think Colston can produce and I think we need a guy who can take a short pass and turn it into a big gain more than we need a redzone matchup guy. Although i'd be pumped about a guy like Benjamin, Moncrief, or Matthews as well.

Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, and Percy Harvin just won a super bowl. None of them are even 6 ft. Tate was also the only one over 200 lbs. at 202.

Plus I think the beat Seattle's holding secondary you need speed, not strength. The goal is to be faster than these big, physical, holding guys, not stronger. If they can't touch you they can't hold you.

Ask Denver how there big receiving threats worked out.

When you are a 5'-10" WR, you don't catch balls by out jumping the DB, you get open with speed and separation (route running), which Cooks possesses.

But, IMO, I hope a top player falls to us at 27 at any position we may want, then we pick the best receiver left in round 2. Besides maybe Watkins, who won't be available at 27, there isn't a WR that commands the 27th pick in the draft.
