i also did a rare "comment on a liberal post" move this morning on that media matters pic:

quote:

pretending that you are generous with other people's money is not being generous. government is not charity. believing in doing good for people instead of relying on government is not a sign of a lack of compassion. it is the opposite

Liberals don't believe in charity. Even though they claim to be lovers of humanity, they must inherently believe people are bad because they think compassion should be mandated with the barrel of a gun.
Which is paradoxical because if people are bad then why do they put so much faith in government which is comprised of nothing more than shitty arse people?

More so, SF...in regard to the folk who are voting for and demanding that their responsible fellow citizens be charitable...are they charitable and responsible themselves? Or are responsible folk essentially forced by 'mob rule' to subsidize folk who have little or no charity, responsibility or virtue? Should it matter? Do them that make moral demands on others...owe anything?

Because if it does matter, and we (Authoritarian Socialist Ideology) are in essence subsidizing immorality...then the suicidal chickens are on their way to the roost.

All that glitters is not gold. And... "there is a way that seemeth right unto man...but the end thereof is destruction" (Biblcial).
