I had to look it up, its a 1991 song called "Dignity". It says Pete's death inspired the song , but i didnt find anything in the lyrics about Pete or basketball

And don't forget his ball handling/play making! Wish I could've seen him more but am able to say I did see him play a couple of times!

Look up the piano demo version. It's on Disc 2 of the Bootleg Vol. 8 Tell Tale Signs. By far my favorite version.
