Indianapolis wasn't bad at all, aside from the merciless cold.

I like both cities.
Indy is a lot more "new", doesn't have the same culture. Indy and Columbus are actually just about mirrors of each other. Indy is a great host city for things. The area surrounding it is pretty boring though...flat farmland.
Cleveland has a lot of old money and culture. Surprisingly higher cost of living. World class airport. Rock Hall. Amazing sports city (but Indy is great as well). NE Ohio has a lot of great food around, a lot of great ethnic food, probably what I miss most.
