In all seriousness, it's a disease. What each views as his/her reality is reality. Love your parents for the people they are and for the love they gave you. Trying to change instinct is futile.

I just cant get on board with this way of thinking. Maybe its just semantics but labeling laziness or bad habits a "disease" cheapens the word disease and gives fat people an excuse.
obesity isn't contagious, its preventable, curable, and isn't caused by virus or bacteria or genetic condition. If obesity is a disease then any destructive habit can be a disease, which renders the word meaningless.
