In one trip to the grocery store, you can buy eggs, sweet potatoes, chicken, vegetables, and lentils.

That's enough to get you through 5 or 6 meals and it's well under $50.

I understand that there are ways to eat healthy on the cheap (I think I manage well), but it's hard to beat the dollar menu in terms of cheap.

For a couple weeks I ate nothing but egg whites, brown rice, grilled chicken and sometimes broccoli mixed in. I got a couple tubs of protein shakes for $25/per for breakfast and snacks.

Healthy and cheap as frick. If people really wanted to they can eat healthy for cheap. They choose not to.
