And what does the governor have to do with passing a bill to do that? We had all the clout we needed with people like Russell Long, Bennett Johnston, and John Breaux and even they couldn't get it done.
Thank you Mary, for looking out for Louisiana's interests while your compadre in the Senate was pissing around with his failed prescription drug legislation.
First of all, the governor was the lead instigator on the move. ML did her job! SO WHAT? It's what she's paid to do. She has always catered to the O&G industry in some way, that's how she is protected. I promise you it's not because she is a good person. She is an Obama puppet.

Why do you think he is running, it is not to win,but to bring in the AA vote for Mary. She just needs to generate interest in all the races. THis is for Mary and he will be aid handsomely for it. I wouldn't doubt if they gt to him through the new wife. She an attention whore and I don't have to explain that.
The really sad thing about Edwin is when he took office, New Orleans was bigger than Atlanta and Houston, we had come a long way from an uneducated populous during Long. We had Natural resources and clout in Congress. He had a mandate to do anything he wanted and he just wasted it. I read Leo's book he should have been on the fast track to Presidency, but blew it. Jindal could be considered in the same light and he isn't doing much better.
