With it looking more and moore like Lance Moore is not returning, is Andy Tanner the slot guy moving forward?

It's his time to shine. He's been waiting in the wings for his chance and now he has it. Prepare yourself Saints fans. It's Tanner time.

I do believe.

I like Tanner, and we've signed/waived/re-signed/cut him a million times.

He's basically Nick Carter in "Quit Playing Games With My Heart."

He's got some height on Lance Moore too. I'm actually really hopeful for him.

Colston, Stills are a given.

After them it's a wide open competition.

actually Colston plays the slot quite often in Paeyton's scheme. The roles are reversed and a bit different here. But if you are asking who will replace Moore, I think it will be Stills.

What I like about him, is that he's a Lance Moore type guy, but white. He can fill Lance Moore's role since he's a Lance Moore type.

I've honestly been assuming that Stills takes that Moore role over. But, I don't see any reason why Stills couldn't spend some time outside opposite Colston. He's certainly got the speed and he isn't really a short guy. Tanner could certainly come in and fill that role.
But, I guess that also depends on who comes in via the draft. We also haven't signed Meachem back either. So honestly, I really wouldn't be surprised if we pick up two WRs.

THIS is one of the least recognized aspects of the Saints offense IMO. Colston is in the slot a majority of the time. They implement size mismatch there over the typical slot receiver role.

Right now he is by default, but I expect that change as we get through FA and the draft.

No. Andy Tanner is fricking terrible. What is the fascination with this guy on here? He's good for nothing moore than taking a few hits in practice.
