Believe it or not, it wasn't the evolution comment.
In fact, I'm a Christian who 100 percent embraces evolution. I think evolution is God's tool to further species.
However, the show is trying WAY too hard to take subtle jabs at the beliefs of many people of faith, regardless of whether their beliefs are right or wrong.
If the show is about science and the cosmos, do not include religion bashing. It's just unnecessary.
MacFarlane has too much influence on this one. He's ruining what could be a great show.

Please don't take this questions as a bashing or anything. As a Catholic growing up, this question never occurred to me, but since becoming an atheist, I've wanted to know what a believer thinks. Anyway, if you believe in evolution and are a Christian, does that mean that you don't believe in "The Fall" or original sin? If so, then what was Jesus saving us all from? It's entirely possible that I am not thinking of the full picture created in the New Testament.
