Reading the comments, one of the two guys in the video posted... Apparently they harassed the guy again later on, and one of them was arrested on harassment charges.
Eta: I understand the frustration the soldiers feel, but they handled this wrong

This is the disconnect I referred to. You're technically correct. It doesn't physically hurt anyone. But why wear it unless you expected to gain on the sacrifice of others(however misguided that may be). I don't know if he was trolling for soldier groupies, trying to catch some reflected glory, or playing the 'repentant soldier who used to kill babies' for some third party group. Whatever it was, he was trying to gain off of the blood, sweat, and tears of others. When you play that game, don't be surprised what happens.
