So what are you complaining about again? That you're paying for something others use but you don't? (Which you're not paying for unless you own property inside the city limits.) That people ("from N. Baton Rouge") are using the bus to get to your part of town?

I hate CATS because I think it's run incredibly inefficiently, but part of the reason for the new bus routes is to make it easier to get to Women's Hospital from other parts of the city. So no, I'm not opposed to the new routes if it means better prenatal care for babies who are going to be born to a crappy family. I guess that makes me a hippy liberal...

Or maybe a poor person without wants to get a job in the area (like at Woman's). Shouldn't we want to be able to get to their job?

It amazes me how some people think nothing but criminals and bad seeds go joy riding on public transportation, as if that stolen flatscreen TV is a convenient ride on a CATS bus.

No, it's mainly the working poor using it.
