I just bought a 60 and a 70 inch M series vizio from costco. The 60 will go in our den and the 70 in a dedicated media room. Paid $2100 for the 70 and $850 for the 60. Add $150 in warranties and i'm covered for anything over the next 5 years.

I'll hook them up next weekend when we move into our new house. I was choosing between Vizio and Samsung. CNET seemed to favor the Vizio overall with price considered. The biggest swing for me was the input lag for video games.

Vizio quality is considered pretty good now. I would have grabbed a 65 inch plasma if I could have found one at a decent price. Not so easy now.

With the Costco warranty I can take it back at any time in the next two years with no questions asked. If I don't like it then I will trade it for the Samsung.

May be a dumb question, but why aren't there any super AMOLED TVs out on the market?

I own a Panasonic plasma, which to me, the picture couldn't be better. However, my Samsung Note 3 has a super AMOLED screen, and the blacks are inky black... just like a plasma.
