I like Sharebuilder.

You can purchase fractional shares, and costs 6.95 a trade.

But the real advantage is when you use their automatic investment plan, where trades cost just 3.95 per.

Since it's not getting much support, I'll second this. I've used it for years. $4 auto trades (Tuesday only) and $7 trades. Also works great with Capital One if you use them.
