I love how you try to make yourself look smart by putting others down. Nice trait... 
In an intellectual environment we generally like explore the intricacies of language. Deconstruction allows for deeper meaning. I hardly doubt anything any says in the public eye is straight forward. I doubt you had ever even heard the quoate utter by MM before the Oscars. I know I have not heard him explain his intended meaning but you seem quite sure to end the discussion and call anyone who questions the meaning dumb.

Dude it doesn't matter. He's not trying to make some statement. Go back and watch the SAG speech as well.
MM loves what he does, he loves life, and he is being truthful about his feelings on the matter. He isn't up there blabbering about some gd political agenda, some bullshite gratitude, or some fricking sob story. It was quite refreshing to hear someone speak from the heart while accepting an award. Hell I doubt he even wrote the damn thing beforehand. I think it was just what was running through his head in the moment.
