I mean if bars are getting sued successfully for drunk driving and held legally responsible for those consequences, id say this case (if as drunk as he sounds) is open and shut because getting that much in markers you'd have to see how drunk he was.

Louisiana has reverse dram law statutes - we protect the bartender no matter what.

I do agree with that. Unless this guy hides his drunkenness very well - which I can do most of the time.
Although I was once prevented from playing craps because I was drunk. I thought I was clever and left the casino's 3rd floor and attempted to get back on the boat on the 2nd floor. Apparently this was a security breach they were well prepared for - they laughed when I tried to get back on the boat.
