Just to confirm the numbers here.

My base is $119k. Variable comp this year is $17k. Add $2.5k bonus for completing a special project. My W2 is $138k. I have been in the same job for a decade and a half. I've never had a direct report. And I love my job.

Can someone confirm the general classification at my work that EE is the most volatile of the engineering disciplines?
Maybe they aren't paying enough.

The numbers aren't bs....I'm a CM grad working in power in the northeast.....this will be my biggest year ever....130 base with probably 50k in per diem OT and bonuses on top of that...and the cost of living in some parts of PA isn't bad like you'd think
