re: Mike Freeman: it's believed a handful of teams are preparing offers for Graham.

What's so funny? Dude folds up when the pressure is on. I get that he is a freak of an athlete but let's face it, he's soft.

So my argument isn't valid? According to your argument he was "clutch" in the ATL game because he had 70+ yards in a 4pt game. However, is this really "clutch" if he has 1 catch for 27 yards in the entire 2nd half?
And listing his stats from a blowout Tampa game isn't exactly a compelling argument.
I get that the dude puts up monster numbers but my argument is that a lot of these numbers are hollow.

In the freaking 2nd quarter....
Go back and watch the tape. He alligator armed 3 balls that game. Dude is scared to get hit. There is a reason he played basketball.

...no one has used the "clutch" argument but you.

Try to keep up. I said he wasn't clutch and his argument was the ATL and Tampa game. Obviously he didn't use the word "clutch" but it can easily be inferred by his counter argument.

it was win or stay home game (if zona wins). That is pretty pressure packed, especially considering the fact Glennon played well up to that point in the season and TB gave us fits earlier in the year.
Eventually the game got out of hand after the 2nd quarter (up 28-14 at half iirc), but JG put up 51 yards and a TD in the 1st quarter alone. Targeted a total 8 times throughout the game while only playing 33 snaps of 69 total snaps

No it's not valid when you use your own slanted definition of what's clutch and meaningful.

Another stupid argument. It was a huge game for the team and he had a big game. If you say this, I get to say his "unclutch" game against Seattle isn't compelling because the team was blown out.

Football isn't a sport where you put up hollow numbers.

Please do me a favor and go look up all the productive games by great players without much production in the 4th...also, please go look up all the unproductive games by great players during very productive seasons.

no, it can't...he said Graham's production was the difference in some big, close games, and that Graham produced well in those games...nothing about being "clutch" or 4th quarter nonsense when we're talking about the TE position....it's dumb, really.

No you said his stats came in meaningless situations and he disappeared in big games, which isn't true. You changed it to clutch and then defined clutch as a specific time period to help your argument.

I get it. It's a fun argument but the dude is not worth the money he is demanding. I get that it is a negotiation so you go in high but damn. I hope he doesn't get anymore than 8 million a year. I just think it is going to be too detrimental to the team.

So you are saying that he isn't clutch because teams make 2nd half adjustments to stop Graham, which ends up allowing other receivers to get more open?

The saddest part is an ATL fan is defending JG

between you on this board, that monty dick rider in PT, and the kobe dick rider in MSB...
I really don't know which one of you have the lowest IQ.

I just find the entire situation funny. Before the playoffs, everyone on here would argue that he was a top 5 WR. (Of course, I do not mean literally everyone)
Now, he is a liability?
Either way, this situation is a win win in my eyes.
Yall keep him, and it hurts the ability to bring in other big name players in free agency.
Another team signs him, and Drew Bree's biggest and best target is gone. I cannot tell you how hard I hope that the Brees Graham duo gets broken up. No receiver will be able to come in and replace the chemistry and results they have together IMO. Man is 35, and I have seen rumors on here that yall might draft a future Brees replacement.

this...other teams and their fans want nothing to do with the Brees/Graham combo...but on this board, come money time, he's soft, not "clutch", disappears in big games, etc.
