the last third or so of this movie was some of the worst shite ever. i read a funny review last night that shite all over this movie with big/fancy words in a way that stimulated my funny bone

I thought the story was okay (could have explained more things) and Brolin did a good job. BUT I feel like I could have done without ever watching it.

Why would Spike Lee of all directors choose this movie to remake? Seems like an odd pairing. Shouldn't his characters be fighting against racial injustice?
