i thought xbmc was the OS on the box. are you saying its an app you launch?

that you can share a 1080p on your local network and play that natively without using XBMC to provide the codec, etc?

i'm just not clear on how you would play a 1080p file without using xbmc for it.

it runs android OS and has xbmc as an app. if you need more info check out their forum. im not an expert on it by any means. I was able to stream movies from various apps on xbmc and they looked great.
