At the prices you suggested, absolutely. I'd fill a lot of growlers at $12/pour. Think of it like standard beer. At 12 oz. a beer, that's 5 1/3 beers for about 13 bucks. Depending upon the beer, and if I'm drinking it in one sitting or can't get it elsewhere, yes please. A growler of something like Abita Amber, though, and I'm saying forget that.

Growlers are very popular in the North, but then again so are micro breweries. Another thing I don't see down here as much is cask ale.
