I'm heading to Golden Meadow to bow fish with Marsh Masters next weekend for a bachelor party. This will be my first bowfishing experience. Anyone deal with Marsh Masters before? Tips for the trip?

somebody posted here about the exact same trip a week or so ago...hopefully, he sees this and responds...

Just did a search. Should have done that first I guess. Anyway. Threads didn't yield much about tips/experience.

Shots are free. Shoot a bunch.
Have fun. Not much to it. Don't get lit before.

Come back and post your experience. Have a bachelor party to plan before Nov and I was considering this also

It's fun. We've been skunked with Marsh Masters though. High tide and dirty water screwed us.

Here I am. Here's my results from last weekend : LINK
Tips? Be ready. Let the arrow fly. It's hard to give tips on shooting. It's a groove. Just have fun and don't get too frustrated. It's not as easy as "shooting fish in a barrel". Don't try to look too far past the light ha.
Bottom line. Marsh masters knows what they're doing. Like normal fishing, if the conditions are right, you'll see plenty of fish and catch many. This is a good time of year to go.
Have fun. I'm jealous. I'd go back in a heartbeat and plan to. I've been before and I'm most impressed with marsh masters. Good luck

Went out with Marsh Masters once a year for several years. We always went in August so I have never needed to prepare for cold weather while bow fishing.
One thing that affected several in our group was blisters from the bow string. We brought golf gloves and tape the next trip. I haven't heard too many complain about that so maybe it's not a big issue for others.

Wear a pair of gloves and have fun

We have our own rig and go a lot.
Never used gloves but I guess it wouldn't hurt.
Aim low that's the biggest thing
And like it was said earlier. Shots are free. If you see it. Shoot it.

Been several time with em. Conditions matter. We always plan our trips for when tides will be low at night. They will work hard for u no matter what

For a group of 4, we paid $200 per.
