No not at all. Specs taste more like a walleye or other white flesh fish.

I've never eaten a Brown. They have to be 24" where we fish and unfortunately I've never gotten one over 21-22". But they are fun as hell to catch.
Fresh trout fried in bacon grease... not to mention the bacon sammiches where the grease was produced. Baked beans and Roger's secret taters. More clean livin'... and clogged arteries.
