Traveling to MSY on Saturday

Coming in from BR on Saturday afternoon for a 6:50 flight out of MSY. Will the parade traffic effect my commute or should most of it be further into the city? Never flown out on Mardi Gras...TIA

You'll be fine. Most people catching Endymion will be (or at least should be) already in the city. I may allot a few extra minutes for the increased traffic volume but that's about it.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but you can always take Airline at LaPlace or take the Houma Boutte exit and you shouldn't have any problems.

I want to say one of these recent past mardi gras the traffic was AT the airport. Took like an hour to complete a loop around. That sucked

Again....... Is OP's flight at 6:50AM or 6:50PM? This makes a huge difference in travel plans.
