Your IP is assigned by your internet provider but is easy to change.
Go into your router settings. Change the routers MAC address. Just change one of the values by a number or letter and router will reset and be assigned a new IP.

awesome. I'll do just that.
I actually bought a new cable modem, as mine is like four or five. I was on a thread in here and someone was saying to get this new one for faster speeds and I got it, but never hooked it up yet.
