No, I've tried multiple computers, and Asus tablet, and iphone. Chromecast blows. I just gve one away and probably won't ever use the one I have left until it is better. The video quality is a joke.

Chromecast does not receive the video from your computer. It gets everything directly from the wifi. The computer is irrelevant. Only your wifi router matters
