Don't do PTA, decreases your earning potential significantly, but your opportunities much more so. It's nearly impossible for a PTA to start a business, while a PT can have several PTAs subcontracting underneath them.

That's the thing though, I'm not too worried about earning potential. I require very little (as does the SO). We are very simple in our needs and she will be an RN. I definitely don't want to start a business either. If I can be comfortable by my own standards, I'm fine.
