The article says she found them and reported it to her superior. Why were the cops called though? Seems like this would be handled by the school

My wife is a kindergarten teacher in a private school. By policy, they are not allowed to go into the bathroom with kids. This policy is so that they are not accused of sexual impropriety. Maybe going into the bathroom was a violation of policy, sort of like the bank teller who conceal carries yet still stops a robbery.

Because two children were naked together and then seen by a teacher. There are a lot of actions that could be questioned in that sentence alone.
Had the police not been notified they set themselves up for all kinds of issues
