It says they were found naked and the students told the teacher they were "having sex". Most likely one of the kids saw something on tv or a movie and got an abbreviated lesson on what a man and woman do when they are naked together. I doubt they were actually having intercourse with each other.
It also states that the teacher was originally in trouble for failure to supervise. I imagine one or both of the parents threatened legal action against the school and the teacher is the fallguy.

I was a kindergarten teacher and have had a few "sexual" sitiations arise at my school. Its a damn shame a child that old knows anything sexual and the parents are the ones who should be prosucuted.

As a father of a 4 y/o and a 9 y/o, I can tell you that it will shock you what they know from their "friends" at school. And the hydraulics work from the first week or two of life, so it's really just a matter of knowledge.
I just want my little buddies to have fun learning to fish and play ball, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to give them "the talk" before 4th grade it looks like.
