New Puppy Introduction:

Finally got this little beast home:
She's already claimed the bed as her own
and she's been great so far. Paper trained and transitioning to raw meat easily(and happily). Also caught this gem of a face in photographic form during play time.
Oh, and I finally named her.
Introducing to you, Ms Marla Hooch
I know, I know TL;DR.

Love her man. How much did you pay? Is that a hyper breed?

Off the sofa and bed
I used to pressure cook whole chicken for my Neapolitan mastiffs. They love it and can eat everything.

She wasn't cheap but no they're not real hyper. It's the French version of the mastiff.

Yeah, that's how they get their calcium. Mine love them(uncooked, obviously).
Sorry to hear that about your collie.

It was 20 years ago. What is this raw meat diet? I must have missed the memo. I feed my boxer dry dog food. Is she missing out on something?

No. With the raw meat you have to watch for intestinal parasites and also supplement the vitamins they aren't getting

Thanks for reminding me that my dog just died.

You aren't supposed to feed dogs chiken bones.

Cooked chicken bones are bad.

What a coincidence. Marla Hooch...turner and hooch. Hooch is a good name

That's a myth. I have two labs(they don't get chicken bones). We have a mutt show up at our house, she's ate at least 25 chickens, batteries, my flip flops. Dogs are tougher than you think.

Doesn't make it good for them
Cooking chicken causes the bone to splinter apart, which could obviously be bad as not all of the bone is digested before passed.
