OK, so I'm gathering it's very buggy on pc but not as much on xbox.
I highly doubt I play it anytime soon. I think for the $5 I'll pull the trigger.
Sic, what kind of mods are we talking? How do they improve the gaming experience?

I've never really messed with mods. That's just what everyone says 
It's still buggy on console, just not as bad. Graphically, if you play it first on console, you'll be fine.
I will say that your money value might end up being better on steam because you could probably buy the game plus expansions pretty cheap.
