I agree with this. Too many people say that to be anti-creation is to abandon all science but there are too many examples that disprove this. I will say that you have to perform mental gymnastics to fit evolutionary evidence into a YEC worldview.

I certainly didn't need to know anything about evolution to be a mechanical engineer.

Slate had an article on this in the past couple of days.
