Anything less than "LSU #1 OH YEAH!" is considered sky is falling to you guys.
Starting a thread in Feb that a redshirt freshman is done and needs to transfer because a Rivers couldn't get it done seems a little like you think the sky is falling. Then couple that with your comments about JJ and your perception that Les will over rule the nfl o coordinator and it's not hard to see what your thinking.
You took one comment that the dudes brother made and spun that in your head to mean we are going right back to the offense of jj. That's seems reactionary. If whatever offense we use next ran one read option play a game then that was to many for Rivers. Rivers knew this and decided to transfer. Heck rivers was always a project anyway.
Saying that Rettig is now done at lsu before his second spring practice because Rivers transferred seems way to reactionary.

I'm saying Rettig is done because the facts are all pointing to this being Jennings job no matter what, despite his play suggesting it should be an open competition.

I don't think he's done already. But i do agree, that if he rides the bench this season, the likelihood of him transferring is very high.
I trust the coaches decision to use whatever QB they think is best. However, going over past history (the crowton years, followed by stud) Les Miles has a history of wanting to control the O when we have a qb that can run. Now hopefully, Les was only doing this because he did not trust Crowton or Stud, and will let Cam run the O because he trusts Cam.
And obviously, i'm not saying Les should have no input or call no plays on the field. But let your generals do the job they were hired to do.
