True,but Atlanta also has one of the best music scenes in the country.
The special part about the New Orleans music scene is the residencies. Rebirth on Tuesdays and Johnny Vidacovich/George Porter Jr Trio on Thursdays at Maple Leaf, Soul Rebels at Le Bon, June Yamagishi at Chickie Wah Wah,etc..(and formerly Anders Osborne at Checkpoint Charlies and Papa Grows Funk at Maple Leaf)
