guys like Kiper keep mocking the OT from Tennessee to the Saints. Antonio Richardson is a guy who I think could help the Saints out. Maybe at right tackle though? Same thing with Martin. I don't know how often teams use a 1st round pick and start the guy at right tackle though.

I'm pretty sure the top 3 tackles that went this past year all did this actually in Eric Fisher, Luke Joeckel, and Lane Johnson. But I think that's more just getting them on the field this year and having them eventually move back to LT.

If Strief and DLP both really don't come back, it wouldn't surprise me of we go T and C with our first two picks. But then again, we usually fill dire needs with FAs as opposed to draft picks

Fluker and Justin Pugh were 1st Rders that were pure RTs.

I won't complain for a studly RT. I'm down for anything to reduce the hits & pressures on Brees. 2006-2008 he averaged less than 16 sacks a season. 2013- 37 sacks. Even worse is his Sack %. His high had been 3.7% (three times) previously. 2013- 5.4%

If I was picking the one area that needs specific improvement the most it is this. At this date we have two OL starters that are undefined. It may be Lelito & Bryce Harris but we really dunno from our perspective.

gotcha.

I think the 49ers drafted Anthony Davis in the 1st round and he's their starting right tackle.

Antonio Richardson is known more for his mauling style of blocking. I think he'd bring a little more of a physical presence to the O-line.

that would be nice to have against defenses like Carolina, Seattle, and San Fran.

especially against the 49ers and that a-hole Ahmad Brooks. That guy has been a real thorn in the Saints side the last few times the Saints have played S.F.
