And it's a shame the closest I could ever get is 3rd row.
It has always been 'tradition' that his band hand out tickets before every show for the 1st two rows to mostly women and people who sit way up in the rafters

Best live entertainer I have ever seen, and that's what got me hooked.

I'm hoping he comes to the Superdome on this new tour.

Some pics from the 3rd row in Nashville in 2010 I took with my wife's blackberry she had at the time.

I like reading the funny things people say who do like him.

So, no.

Don't like what?

I'm rather amused right now. Garth fans are a funny bunch.

He will. He hasn't officially announced...but he will based on regional bookings for venues during the late summer and fall. He's going big.
Probably going to announce Fenway Park shows as well.

The 'Comeback Tour' launches in July with 5 shows in Dublin Ireland. TO end any speculation that he is "done" and people are "over" him, he sold out 400,000 (yes FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND) tickets in 180 Minutes total, breaking all previous records..as he will do in every city he will tour in the 2014-2016 WT3

Saw him and Trisha when they did the three shows in Baton Rouge in the 90s. Dad always disliked him up til that night, said he ran around on the stage and had the fireworks to hide that he couldn't sing. Well, show ended and he got a standing ovation. Came out and sang another song, same response. Came out again and said "well guys looks like y'all don't want to go home and I'm not tired yet. I'm going to send my band off but I'll make you a deal. As long as y'all want to listen I'll sit here and sing."

He sat down on the stage, just him and his guitar and started singing songs from others he said inspired him. A minute into the first song, with no smoke or lights or explosions, my dad leans over and says, "I was wrong, son of a bitch can sing." An hour or so later we left, he was still singing on the stage.

I'm willing to drop $300/ticket to see him. Never have gotten the opportunity to see him live

Multiply this by thousands of people and you know why he is so successful...many don't get "it" until they see him live
