Here is an explanation
Seriously though:
Spoiler effect means that if you vote third party you are actually helping the party you least agree with.
The cost of running a campaign means that there will only be two main parties.
That ensures that you have to stay with one of the two established parties or lose your vote's importance. That sucks.
