Shake the haters Brit, these frickers live in a bubble. There are tens of thousands of tiger fans in the Dallas, Austin, Houston triangle......which is a relatively short drive to College Station.
Oh and most really are OT rich enough to travel to a basketball game.

Not people in BR, but there is a huge alumni basis in Houston. I would imagine there would be a good group going

Nope. I'm old enough to be their Mom.
My husband's an ex player from yesteryear with good connections to the team.

It's a Hyatt Place. A less posh version.

It's the old AmeriSuites that Hyatt bought about 5 years ago. I always stay at the Hyatt Place in Hoover for the SEC baseball tournament.

Ignoring any possible intended sarcasm and answering your question:
Some ppl do if within driving distance from BR.
Some rich alumni charter a plane for the BIG games.
But mostly it's ppl living in the area or general area. Alumni
I wanted to post the hotel info for those coming in from Houston etc.

Right because it's cool to drive 1000 miles to Nebraska for a sport that nobody cares about - but let's mock fans in the 4th largest city and only 4 hour away from BR for supporting our team in a sport that actually matters.
