he seemed more like a silent commitment.

LSU was frankly fortunate that 1/2 was not closer to signing day. People freaked out over not getting 4 or 5 of the 5 stars that were being recruited but they recovered in time to close up an extraordinary class one month later.

Had signing day been closer to 1/2 LSU would have played their cards differently...by quite a bit.

I doubt he was offered a greyshirt. With that said, I do believe he wanted to commit to LSU and the coaches weren't having it. Maybe because he led them on as well.

Hope the coaches continue with that. If you frick around and go to a rivasl, LSU will move on and replace you with someone just as good or better.

Shame that fans who having a raging hard on for kids staying in state do not see that.
