Of course, while there may be some people who can now leave their jobs and maintain insurance when they couldn't before, the majority of this 2.3M are ones who will now substitute greater benefits for earned income, in similar fashion to that depicted by the chart Taxing Authority posted yesterday:

Regarding who will fund it, well, those dark blue bars on the right will need to keep coming down which, of course, will cause disproportionate harm to the middle class.

This is part of the new norm by design. Liberal progressives are smarter than we think. It's all about placating the masses and liberals getting credit for perceived improvements. They fully understand that their policies have created a negative jobs situation so their answer is to create a new norm in which fewer jobs are required and the jobless or underemployed are kept under control (not rioting) through government dependency. Pelosi's better quality of life for people not having to work and writing poetry, whatever is part of the new world order which eliminates psychological guilt for people who do not work and are government dependents. It's a brilliant concept that actually elevates the unproductive to the highest status in society.
