This makes me doubt my Critical Duty +p, but I don't really care anymore. I bought a slew of them and so they will have to be the go-to for now.
SGammo had Critical Duty, HST and Winchester Rangers in stock so I jumped on 'em like a turkey on a june bug.
They were also 21 dollars for a 50 pack back then, too.
I always considered the polymer tip on any hornady the reason they were good for short barrels. It was my perception, (though who knows?) that the tip aided feeding in a shorter ramp.

I do like the Critical Duty's in my 5" M&P CORE but besides that I'm gonna be carrying the best stuff he finds.
I don't know if I've ever seen HST on the shelf but his test showed it lay a smackdown on the ole Gold Dot.
