It was even worse when players are purposely trying to get out of the way, players with the ball are purposely jumping into people and leaning into people hoping for a foul. That's sad.

Right. LSU lost on their own merits but the reffing made the game nearly unwatchable - boring and slow.

It really did.

I know a lot of people are saying SEC refs are terrible, but there are no SEC basketball refs. All of them are independent contractors, throughout the NCAA.

I'd like to see the SEC actually employ their own officials with the stated purpose of improving the quality of the product.

If they're going to tell teams to schedule better in the non-conference, then back that up with getting better officials for the conference games.
