What's the point of this? It's not hard to tell that most of the bible is a lie or just a metaphor. If any Christians take the bible literally, their too dumb to be fixed

im not saying that this is necessarily true, but theologians have a mature earth theory which is Christians' rebuttal against carbon dating that disproves the bible's chronology. Its worth taking a look at.

archaeologist nowadays are stretching what they find. Their evidence is supposed to prove something was there at that date, not say that it couldnt have been their before.

I think its funny that people will call the bible bullshite but take carbon dating as absolute fact.

News flash the Hebrew Bible that we have today is the Masoretic text and dates to the 9th century AD. The Spetuagint is the Greek version is high influenced by non-Jewish thought, like Helenism. So the originals are lost and inerrancy only claims the originals were without error. There are tons of transmission errors in the Bible. They are known as variants.
