Why anyone expects to beat the Spurs at this point is beyond me.
1. I don't care who we're playing, or how many injuries we've had, if we outplay a team for the first 3 quarters and go into the 4th with a 12 point lead, I expect us to be able to win. I just don't see how after watching that game you can just say, oh well, we shouldn't be beating the Spurs anyway so it doesn't matter.
2. Lets not act like the Spurs have been so great lately. They're 5-5 in their last 10 and were playing without Leonard and Giniobli. There is no reason to think that we couldn't have beaten them.

Why anyone needs wins to have fun is also beyond me.
What? I don't understand how anyone can thinking consistently watching their team lose close games is fun, especially with the way we've been able to choke some away.

It's a running joke among my friends, "oh the pels are up by 10? They'll definitely blow this". It's really not funny, it's sad.

As far as losing this one goes, that run at the end was Parker and Duncan. That's yhe game in a nutshell.
As far as appreciating losses, it depends. Wins are better, for sure, but if the team is on a good path, and I think they are, it helps me.
I had the same feeling about the Saints. I see the issues, my expectations were met, and I believe the team will get better.
