Unplug it for 20 minutes and plug it back in. The breaker probably tripped and is stuck.

Tried this and when I get home will see how it worked out. Seems like if a breaker tripped the light wouldnt come on when I opened the freezer.
Also going to borrow an air compressor this evening and will clean under the bottom real well. We took everything out last night except for some bags of ice so luckily we caught it before we lost anything.

Isnt there a poster on here who does appliance repair for a living? Wanna say he is in the NO area?
