My defrost timer has failed twice in ten years on my Frigidaire freezer. Replaced it last week. Seam to last about 5 years.
I bought this freezer alarm last week from amazon for 10 bucks. It works but the alarm is not very loud but my freezer is by the garage door so I walk by it multiple times a day and would hear the alarm.

Find your defrost timer and turn it a couple of ticks with a coin or screw driver to get it back on the freeze cycle for the time being. It cycles to defrost every 12 hours and gets stuck on defrost.

Unplug it for 20 minutes and plug it back in. The breaker probably tripped and is stuck.
